The Swamp Fox
gelding, McPHA #01017
out of Queen Anne’s Lace (F-170)
by McCurdy’s Mann O. Steel (F-1)
Foaled July 31, 2001

Swamp Fox has an excellent ground-covering gait, is extremely strong, willing, and has a great disposition. We spent a week with this horse in the mountains of Tennessee in October 2008 and he just kept on going, day after day, without hesitation.
He loves having a job to do. He had not been ridden since Thanksgiving when we loaded him on the trailer on February 19. He was so happy to be in the camp on the picket line, and went right back to work Saturday morning from the very first step he took. Absolutely no nonsense, just ready to get back to work.
We often talk of a horse needing a job to do. Well, Swamp Fox is a horse that absolutely wants a job to do.

SOLD - Congratulations Jean and Kevin Culver of Fort Valley, Virginia.

Pegasus,
McCurdy gelding, 2005.

Pegasus is a delight to ride. He has a sweet, loving disposition and is all business on the trail. You set the speed you want and he will maintain that speed for hours – like the Timex watch that just keeps on ticking. He will slow right back down when you ask and does not get upset when other horses bump into him or fly past him – an excellent, calm trail horse.

SOLD - Congratulations Jenni and Art
